We are immediately looking for an expert in Brand Marketing within Japan market to join our growing Marketing department at our Tokyo office as:
Brand Marketing Specialist / Assistant Manager
(Job title depends on the candidate's experience)
The purpose of the Brand Marketing Specialist or Assistant Manager Role is toDesign, develop and deliver the short and long term regional cross-marketing functional strategies, adopting business and market situations by each sales channel.
Be able to lead and drive an integrated process and match marketing objectives and business objectives.
Get to know the consumer insights for XXX brand, establish and update the consumer journey, lead 360 degree marketing in cooperation with each marketing function, and execute IMC planning.
While sharing the consumer insights of a brand to global stakeholders in a timely manner, she/he is committed to developing communication tools that deeply pierce Japanese consumers.
Collaboration with the global content development team, she/he is in charge of visual development of XXX, which is developed only in Japan. To that end, it functions as a hub for global and local teams and external partner companies.
By fulfilling these objectives, she/he will contribute to the establishment and improvement of the image of the brand, the business itself, and the growth of the XXX (Female Apparel) business as a whole.
Roles & Responsibilities:Drive and lead internal cross-functional teams and external agencies to develop regional marketing campaigns. Develop the planning process aligned against the business KPI and the functional KPI
Collaborate with the other key function teams including Global Marketing teams to ensure that we are consistently delivering against the Service Leader proposition via efficient processes, effective campaigns and engaging and inspiring shopping experiences linked across all touchpoints for our consumers
Cooperate with the global content development team to support/lead the visual development of XXX.
Support to develop Japan planned brand marketing concept which provide consistent brand experience of each brand via translate situation analysis, brand equity study, media and consumer trends to actionable insights that contribute to the localization of the global marketing strategy
Support IMC Planning: Make full use of consumer data inside and outside the company to formulate a communication strategy that resonates with consumers, and plan and implement a communication plan in line with it
Establish and update a consumer journey for each brand in IMC planning and lead 360 degree marketing
Utilize exceptional understanding of the female clothing and Marketing business units to provide insights and deliver competitive advantages and economies of scale for Brand Marketing
Work with your MRM(CRM) team to drive the consumer brand experience
Support an annual budget planning process
Report to senior managers in a timely manner while keeping an eye on the daily balance of Brand Marketing related A&P budgets
Your ideal profile:More than 3-5 years of relevant experience in Brand Marketing
Extensive consumer and competitor understanding
Cross Functional expertise in Brand Marketing management and leadership to make alignment
Experience with strategies & concept development, media strategies development, media-neutral planning, integrated brand marketing planning, media setting KPIs and tracking ROIs.
Solid marketing experience
Experience in beauty / inner wear/ apparel / Sports / Lifestyle industry is a bonus
Strong commercial understanding
Willingness to deepen insight into consumers and competitors
Creative insights and understanding of branded aesthetics.
Experience with high-caliber agency collaboration work and processes.
Ability to inspire via strong presentation and communication skills
Strategic thinking and commercial minds
Proven ability to lead complex and multi-functional teams
Project Leader experience is a bonus
High drive + result orientated
Gender does not matter, but marketing experience for women's products is a must
Educated to degree level +
Fluent level in Japanese and Business level in English; Regarding English, she/he reads and writes emails on a daily basis, chats with the HQ's members on a daily basis, and frequently participates in meetings with the HQs.
