【General Purpose】
The head of Operations role for Japan is responsible for the operational component of servicing the country's commercial & sales strategy and needed improvement programs, with a focus on D&T, service level, inventory management and operational costs. Also After-sales-service for all channels is one of the focuses.
He/she is accountable for :
- The efficient delivery of country and regional operations policies
- Country inventory and service in coordination with global brand operations, and country sales and CS organizations providing high level service (value OTIF).
- D&T costs & operation results which contributes to profitable growth in the country as well as region.
- Creating trustable relationships with 3rd parties for After Sales performance based on each brand’s policies and providing the 1st class consumer experience throughout the process and communication.

【Key Responsibilities】
- Strategic Business Planning for operation and D&T which include active involvement within Country Lead team and within all Brand Operations Leads to set long term strategy and vision.
- Establishment of Country Operations Strategy, in line with regional Operations strategy, and enablement of country initiatives to increase distribution, grow in retail, E-tail & E-com.
- Country sales forecasting coordination and development within the Commercial management and Finance communities.
- Supervise operation & D&T activities to maximize performance efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness. (3PL)
- Operational efficiency and country development: integration programs, new process development and training. This includes KPI development and monitoring (Service, complexity reduction, SKU reduction, logistic terms, cost transparency, inventory management, etc) and new process development and implementation.
- Business Transformation: Design, develop, and implement programs that support the vision and strategy of the country. Gain stakeholder buy in and commitment through strong change management and professional business acumen.
- Owner and executor of the country D&T and facilitator of sales and operations planning process
-> In coordination with Brand Supply Chain leader to manage country product availability and inventory level control. Ensure country operations related execution with global ops and regional CS teams.
-> Manage decisions to give transparency and optimize the “end to end” value chain from Sourcing to Customer /Consumer receipt of goods
-> Establish SLA with country D&T to ensure service level to support country sales target.
-> Continuously drive cost saving initiatives in coordination between IT, D&T, SC and Brand SC
- Owning projects and support successful implementation in strong collaboration with all stakeholders from Brands and IT
- Scale & Synergy: Contribute to improve and implement global scale & synergies in the areas of operation
- After-Sales Service: Responsible for supervising all post-marketing, budgeting, consumer follow-up, and general business plans to make sure consumers are satisfied and that sales improves.

- 15+ years of related work & management experience in consumer goods industry
- Proven demand and supply planning, the overall operations, supply chain, S&OP global process, Warehousing and D&T function experience
- International Experience is a must
